Children’s Educational Toys are those that combine playing with teaching and the child does not even know when one stopped and the other began. Playing with fun and learning with fun need not be two activities meant for separate times. Children exist in their own high energy zone and educational toys serve to generate, absorb and canalize this energy.
Super parents are always on the lookout for toys that hold the attention of their children and simultaneously help to enhance the learning abilities of their super kids while providing a lot of fun at the same time. One may easily concede that only a toy that succeeds in sustaining the ever wavering attention of a child can remain in the child’s observational orbit for long enough to educate the child.

Kids love video games, but most such games have little or no educational value and many even glorify violence. So it’s no surprise that parents often put severe limits on the types of games their kids can play and how often and long they can play them.
That’s not to say that all video games are bad. Many educational toy makers and children’s book publishers have used the popularity of video games to their advantage and created educational computer games. Kids find these fun and entertaining and adults like them because they teach kids new things and reinforce what they are learning in school.

You could actually call playing a video game with action and violence educational, but is this the kind of education you want for your child? This can only be compared to a silly TV advert for a chocolate spread, declaring itself as a healthy breakfast spread for children as it had hazelnuts in it, but they forgot to mention other ingredients such as sugar and coco. hmmm
